Cookie Notice
This page lists what RocketRune and the tools it uses store in your browser or ask your browser to send. Optional tools stay off until you choose. You can reject them and still use RocketRune.
Necessary, always on
- Your choice on this page. Kept in this browser only, with the date and the version of this notice, and no identifier. It is remembered for 180 days, then you are asked again.
- Sign-in.If you sign in, Clerk, our sign-in provider, keeps you signed in using its own cookies and browser storage. We have not listed their names because they are Clerk's and can change.
- Checkout. Paying for RocketRune Pro happens on a page hosted by Stripe, which handles it under its own policies.
- Your settings.Light or dark theme, your favorite launches, whether you dismissed the install prompt, and a location you chose to save are kept in this browser's storage. They are not cookies and they are not sent to us unless you sign in and favorite launches, or save a location to your account.
Analytics (optional)
Provider: Vercel Analytics. Counts visits and which pages and buttons are used, so we can see what works. It also remembers which ad campaign brought you here, for the rest of your visit.
When on, it records page views, with the page address and where you came from, and the actions you take such as opening Launch Mode, viewing the Pro page or starting checkout. The campaign tag (source, medium and campaign from the link you arrived through) is kept in your browser for that visit only. When off, none of this is recorded and no campaign tag is stored.
Advertising measurement (optional)
Providers: Google Ads and Meta. Sends Google and Meta a record of visits to RocketRune and of subscriptions, so we can measure how our advertising performs. Google and Meta may set their own cookies.
When on, each tool receives a record of your page views and, if you subscribe, the subscription and its value. Both companies may set cookies of their own and combine this with what they already know about you under their own policies. The cookie names their documentation lists include _fbp, _fbc, _gcl_au and names starting _gac_; we have not observed them in a browser, so treat that list as what the companies say, not as a guarantee. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this stays off whatever you choose.
When off, neither tool is loaded and neither receives anything. Your subscription is still recorded by our payment provider; only the advertising reports lose it.
External media (optional)
Providers: YouTube and OpenStreetMap. Lets launch webcasts and maps load from YouTube and OpenStreetMap, which then receive your IP address and may use their own cookies.
Until you allow it, a launch webcast or map shows a short notice with a button to load that one item, and a link to open it on the provider's own site.
What your choice does not cover
- Fonts. The tracker and the Pro page load their typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google when those pages open, and Google receives your IP address and browser details. This is not one of the optional tools above and is not switched off by the settings on this page.
- Hosting. Our host, Vercel, handles every request to RocketRune and keeps ordinary technical logs of those requests.
Details of what we collect and why are in the Privacy Policy.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie & Privacy Settings above, or the link at the foot of every page. Switching a tool off clears what it stored in this browser where we can reach it and reloads the page once so the tool stops. Cookies that Google or Meta set on their own domains cannot be reached from RocketRune; your browser's settings can remove them.
