This Privacy Policy describes how RocketRune ("we", "us"), operated by Alan Ritchie based in Tampa, Florida, collects, uses, and protects information when you use rocketrune.com (the "Site").
Information we collect
Email address (optional): If you sign up for launch alerts, we store the email address you provide and your alert preferences solely to send you the launch notifications you requested. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any alert email, which permanently removes your address from our system.
Account information: If you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) stores your email address and login credentials to manage your sign-in. We receive your email and a user identifier; we never see or store your password.
Payment information: If you subscribe to RocketRune Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data directly. We retain only a record of your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference so we can provide Pro features and let you manage your subscription.
Local browser storage: We store small preferences (such as your favorited launches and ad settings) in your browser. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Usage data: Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and general location derived from your IP address.
Advertising and cookies
We use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to support the Site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

The Site relies on third-party services that may process data according to their own privacy policies, including our hosting provider (Vercel), authentication provider (Clerk), payment processor (Stripe), Google AdSense, OpenWeatherMap, The Space Devs, and our email delivery provider.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of the email address we hold for you at any time by unsubscribing or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
