Mission brief

What is happening

European Space Agency is launching T1H-1 on a Themis Demonstrator from Launch Complex 3B at Esrange Space Center. It is a test flight heading to Suborbital. The first stage, T1H, is making its first flight, and will attempt a landing back at the launch site.

Why it matters

Test flights exist to find out what a vehicle can do, so an outcome short of complete success can still be a useful result for the programme.
